Selecting a Contractor
Price: When choosing the best price, make sure you compare apples, to apples with written estimates. Verbal promises don’t always hold true. Consider the amount of preparation necessary, quality of materials, number of coats, etc. The lowest price is seldom the best price when it comes to painting and concrete coating.
Promptness: Contractors who keep estimate appointments are more likely to arrive promptly when hired for the job and complete it in a timely manner.
Communications: A contractor should be responsive to your needs and inquiries prior to, during and after the job. They should be able to handle phone calls and answer questions in a timely manner.
Insurance: Adequate insurance is essential and proof should be provided without hesitation, upon your request.
Warranty: Professional contractors of a reputable company stand behind their work and will offer a written warranty.
Written Proposal: Well written proposals should describe in detail what is to be included in the job. This protects both parties against any misunderstandings. The estimate clearly indicates the professionalism of the contractor.
Environment: Does the contractor use eco friendly products and show concern for the earth?
Trust: A contractor and his employees may be at or in your home or
business for a week or longer. Make sure you have an open line of
communication with the company so the experience will be a positive one.
Choosing Paint Colors
The next challenge may be harder than selecting a painting contractor. Choosing the perfect paint colors is a difficult task for most. Trying to envision how your home or business will appear just by looking at a one inch paint color sample is next to impossible. With the help of Dunn Edwards Palette Pre viewer software program and my experienced eye for color, we can help you see what it will look like BEFORE we paint! This visual tool is a tremendous help, especially when you are striving to achieve a new, transformed look. The Palette Pre viewer enables us to scan a picture of your home or business and then applies the color of your choice with a simple click of the mouse. It provides virtual painting at its best. The Palette Pre viewer is the perfect tool when your choice must be approved by a Home Owners Association; It will be an asset in getting your selection approved to everyone’s satisfaction. After the choices have been narrowed down to a few colors, samples can then be painted on your home or building. It is important to see the samples in different light at various times of the day. Once the final color has been selected, the preparation work can begin.
Interior Painting

Step 1:
Interior surfaces must be cleaned of dirt, dust, wax, oils or other contaminants. We make sure that the surface is dry and free of all loose paint and powdery substances before applying fresh paint.
Step 2:
We cover carpet, wood and tile floors, furniture, windows, fixtures and anything that must be protected from paint.
Step 3:
Repairs and patches are made; cracks, spaces and holes are caulked wherever necessary.
Step 4:
All repairs are sanded and retextured to match existing surfaces and the appropriate primer is applied as needed.
Step 5:
We begin interior painting with the ceiling, followed by the walls, and finally the woodwork. Flat paint is usually used on ceilings, low sheen on walls, and eggshell or semi-gloss on the woodwork. We brush and roll most interiors. This prevents damage to furnishings and the dust residue created by spraying. Most of the time interiors require two coats. We provide the customer with the remaining paint, in case of future nicks and scratches. The job is not completed until the customer is completely satisfied.
Exterior Painting

Step 1:
For exterior jobs, we begin with pressure washing. Exterior cleaning is essential because the outside of your home is exposed to the elements of nature, between the blazing heat of summer and the monsoon season, the painted surface can breakdown . The structure surface is often contaminated with dirt, dust, and sometimes wax, grease or mold. These can all cause paint to fade or peel. After pressure washing, we scrape any remaining loose paint.
Step 2:
Repairs, patching, and caulking cracks and holes where necessary will be done. Wood will be replaced where needed and as agreed upon.
Step 3:
Your plants, windows, roof, cement and anything else you do not want paint on, will be masked and protected.

Step 4:
The appropriate primer will be applied to wood, metal and masonry.
Step 5:
Now it’s time to apply the paint. The majority of the time exterior surfaces are sprayed with two coats of paint, this ensures proper coverage, protection and appearance. The trim and fascia wood paint is brushed on for best coverage.
To hot for paint

High surface temperatures may prevent paint from adhering properly. It is best, when possible, not to paint in the peak heat of summer or in direct sunlight. It is not good for the paint, or the workers; they both dry out to quickly!
We start at the top of the building and work our way down. We then remove all protective covers, put things in their proper places, reinstall any necessary fixtures and thoroughly clean up. Your home or business transformation is complete! The steps explained above will insure you have received the very best quality of work for your investment.
Decorative Concrete Coatings (stamp overlay)
When it comes time for a new look, stamp overlay is the way to go. It transforms plain boring gray concrete to look like stone, tile, or brick. There are a wide variety of designs and textures to choose from. The surface strength is better than concrete. It is low maintenance and stain resistant, and increases property value and curb appeal.
Step 1:
We start with a degreaser and pressure wash the surface.
Step 2:
Next we use Super-Krete Pena-Krete this increases the strength of the concrete.
This product reacts with the alkali in the concrete to create a crystal-like barrier within the pores of concrete substrates. Pena-Krete greatly reduces vapor
emissions through concrete slabs, thus multiplying years of longevity for coatings
over concrete.
Step 3:
Now it is time for stamping, we have a lot of choices for stamp patterns.
Step 4 :
Then we color the surface, with virtually unlimited colors to pick from.
Step 5:
The last step is to seal the overlay. Now you get to enjoy your new look.
